A quote from the Bible

I was glad when they said to me
Let us go to the House of the Lord
Psalm 122:1
Sunday worship
We gather to share our faith and worship every Sunday morning from 10.30am. After the service, which usually finishes around 11.30am, everyone who can is invited to ‘Bide a while’ and come through to the Church Hall for a cup of tea or coffee and a chat.
The Sacrament of Communion is celebrated as part of this service on the first Sunday of the month apart from August.
On the last Sunday of the month our 10.30 service is All-age Worship: a time for old and young in years and young and old in faith to come together to share a different style of worship. These All-age Services do not take place in July, August or September.
As well as this programme of worship we hold special services throughout the year: from Harvest Thanksgiving in October
to Remembrance Sunday in November; from celebrating the Saviours birth at Christmas to His Resurrection at Easter. Please check the Calendar of events in our newsletter for these special times of worship.
Evening service
We offer a 6.30pm Evening Service - a time for quiet reflection and Prayer - on the last Sunday of the month apart from July, August and December.
CoSY
CoSY simply means Church of Scotland Youth and is our name for Sunday School. Children meet at 9.30am in the Upper Room during term time for a half hour Wee Service. This is aimed at younger children but is for everyone who wishes to attend worship in a more informal atmosphere.
Fellowship
Recently we have held a series of afternoon teas on a Saturday and a number of finger buffets after morning Worship including Harvest. We are always lookng at ways of strengthening our fellowship both inside and outside the Church including an annual Church Away-Day in Herm.
